【Student Housing Service Section Announcement】Winter Vacation Accommodation Application in 111 Academic Year

Subject: Announcement of International students’ winter vacation accommodation in 111 Academic Year

Description：

1. Check out Time for this semester:

  • Undergraduate students - Before JAN 15th 2023 16:00
  • Master & Ph.D. students – Before JAN 31st 2023 16:00

2. Students who want to stay in the dorm during winter vacation MUST apply for winter vacation accommodation in accordance with the regulations.

3. Application eligibility: International Students

Master, Ph.D. students & Japan Future Enrichment Program Freshmen who need to stay in dorm need to register through the form (Link) before 12/30.  No extra fee is required for winter vacation accommodation.

4. Application period: 2022 Nov. 28 th～ 2022 Dec. 30 th

5. Staying period: 2023 Jan. 14th～ Feb. 12nd　(Application for non-continuous periods will not be accepted)

6. Application procedure:

Portal → Apply for stay during vacation → Print out application form → Signed by GAO/dept./teacher/instructor → Send to Student Housing Service Section for approval → Pay the fee at Office of General Affairs (Building 1) → Deliver the stamped form to Student Housing Service  Section

7. Accommodation fee: 120 NTD per day (For undergraduate student only)

e.g., 30 days in total for the entire period x 120 NTD = 3,600 NTD.

8. Any students who want to stay during this period must complete the procedure above, otherwise accommodation, internet and access card will not be provided.

9. During Chinese New Year (from 2023. Jan. 20th to Jan.29th).

(a) Dorms and cafeterias will be closed. (Except Family Mart in dormitory area)

(b) The dorms will only provide hot water from electric heaters. Students in Male 1st dorm please take shower in Section B of each floor; students in Female 1st dorm please take shower in the bathroom nearby room No. 13 of each floor.

(c) The school military office will still be opened. In case of emergency or any physical discomfort, please call 03-4553698.

10. For every new staying period (new semester, winter or summer vacation) students must re-register the dormitory network. After successful registration, please wait 15 minutes for the network to be available.
