Application Procedure of Dormitory Discontinuity / Give up bed capacity in 2019 Spring Semester

Description:

After the dormitory of 2019 Spring Semester has been arranged, students who want to give up their dormitory MUST fill in the “dormitory discontinuity / give up bed capacity” form and complete the abandoned application.

  1. Target Applicant: All Dormitory Students
  • Whoever has finished their school year like, exchange students, 3+1 exchange students, dual degree students, do not need to apply for Dormitory Discontinuity/ Give up bed Capacity. The system will examine the status automatically.
  1. Application Period:
    • Undergraduate: From today onwards to December 21st (Friday), 2018.
    • Postgraduate: From today onwards to January 11th (Friday), 2019.
  2. Application Procedure:
    • Please fill in and submit the ‘Special Reason for Giving Up Dormitory Bed Capacity Form’ to Office of Student Housing Service Section (SHSS) which is located at Section C, 1st Floor of Male Dorm if you have special reasons such as program deferment, withdrawal, transfer, internship, oversea exchange and other unpredictable reason.
    • Please fill in and submit the ‘Giving Up Dormitory Bed Capacity Form’ to Office of Student Housing Service Section (SHSS) which is located at Section C, 1st Floor of Male Dorm if you are willing to give up the bed capacity due to staying at home, off campus accommodation, roommate problems, difficulties in adapting dormitory environment and other personal reasons.
    • You MUST return the room key and ‘Room Check-Out Form’ to the front desk at the 1st floor (Male and Female Dorm), and leave after the dormitory room has been inspected by the staff.
  3. Attention Matters:
    • Your dormitory will be RENEWED AUTOMATICALLY with accommodation fee incurred for the following semester if you are not able to make the application before deadline. You are advised to make the necessary application as soon as possible if you are not going to continue staying at the dormitory. OR ELSE once the fee has incurred, it will be NON-REFUNDABLE.
    • All the dormitory students who have applied for renouncing dormitory must leave the dormitory before the deadline in semester end (Deadline for undergraduate is January 13th ; Deadline for postgraduate is as of January 31st ).
    • Tenant should leave the property in broom clean condition. While checking out from the dormitory room, please ensure the cleanliness of the bed and room, remove the personal belongings from the room and return the public-used items to the original condition. You will be CHARGED DAILY for room rental if you are not able to move out from the dormitory before the dealine, unless your excuse has been accepted by the University’s rules. Any personal items left behind will be disposed, and you will be charged $300 NTD for the cleaning fee as it’s affecting new tenant or exceeding the deadline announced.
