Introduction to the Book Acquisition Project: Languages for Specific Purposes
The study of Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP) has in recent years enjoyed its rapid growth internationally. This trend is not only found in the study of English, the primary international language, but also of other languages. As an important workplace foreign language in Taiwan, second only to English, Japanese has also been studied from the LSP perspective. To meet the study needs of this area, a good research library is indispensible. This project, sponsored by the National Science Council, is an attempt to meet this need.
