WEGO-YZU’s emergency APP receives golden Award in 2018 Open Data Contest

The team, WEGO-YZU , formed by Prof. Pan En-Hao Pan(潘人豪) for the Big Data Center with the students of Dep. Information Communication and Computer Science & Engineering, who are Wu Jin-ze, Chang Chen-yo, Lee Yong Ying, Lee Yong Ying and Huang Yi-Xuan from Dep. Information Communication. They win the golden prize with NTD 120,000 in the Socio-Economic Database Group of 2018 Open Data Contest.

The team develop emergency APP, called WEGO, which has multiple functions including automatic warning system at dangerous section, visualization of data in danger, automatic speech detection, emergency search of P2P video screaming, SOS, rescue navigation and etc..
