Yuan Ze University’s 36th Anniversary Celebration Grandly Held on March 8

Yuan Ze University’s 36th Anniversary Celebration will take place on March 8. The event features a sports day, a campus fair, and a community arts festival, while also welcoming high school students to visit the campus and participate in various college week activities. These events will showcase the vibrant and diverse aspects of different academic departments, student clubs, and administrative teams, while integrating local community resources to foster connections with residents. At noon, an alumni reunion banquet will be held in the gymnasium with 36 tables, strengthening alumni bonds. Taoyuan City Deputy Mayor Su Jun-Bin will also attend the ceremony to extend his congratulations.

The anniversary sports event will commence with a campus run led by President Liao Ching-Jung, with around 500 faculty members and students participating. The anniversary ceremony will be held in Yuan Ze University’s Sixth Building, You-Xiang Hall, and will feature a speech by Board of Trustees Chairman Xu Xu-Dong to inspire the audience. The ceremony will also include the presentation of prestigious awards such as the 2024 Global Top 2% Scientists, Outstanding Faculty Performance Award, and Young Scholars Research Award, recognizing faculty members' exceptional contributions.
