YZU wins won a treble in the 2022 National Chemical Beer Brewing Creative Competition.

Chi-Wei Lan, chair of Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science, Yuan-Ze University and Prof. Chien-Shiun Liao led students Yi-Zheng Ke, Qian-Hua Wu, ZiYu Luo, Jie-Ming Zhong, Pei-Yu Sun and Zi-Yu Chen to participate in the 2022 National Chemical Beer Brewing Creative Competition. As the biggest winner of this competition, YZU team won champions in three groups. Their "Medusa" won the first place in the academic experiment group and "Sour berry" as runner-up while "KU KU SAU" and "Not Yet" won the dark group and light color group respectively.
