The “Taoyuan Cultural Corridor” USR project implemented by Yuan Ze University’s College of General Studies participlated in the 2nd Taiwan Sustainability Action Award, and won SDGs 4 Quality Education Golden Award from 247 entries in the competition.
Since 2017, the “Taoyuan Cultural Corridor” USR project has cultivated in two practical fields of Longgang in Zhongli district and Xiaoli in Bade district. It not only established sites to exchange with local communities, but also allowed students to have more understanding and care for the place. Furthermore, it introduced the school curriculum into the community promoting the connection between students and local residents.
