YZU promotes five forces to cultivate employment competitiveness

Founded by the Far Eastern Group, Yuan Ze University focuses on the "five forces" -digitalization, cross-domain power, creativity, global mobility, and public participation- to develop students’ employment competition by promoting the internships in Far Eastern Group and the exchanges with top 100 prestigious universities.

A New Normal is coming in the post-epidemic era. Many economic activities and school curricula have been digital transformation, which requires innovative and interdisciplinary thinking. Yuan Ze University takes "cross-disciplinary digital learning" as the core curriculum to cultivate students’ creative thinking, and the abilities of solving social and industrial problems through practice education.

2019  YZU team won the bronze medal at Stanford Design Challenge held by Stanford University, second only to Stanford and Berkeley, tied for first place.
 2020 Received subsidies from the Ministry of Education for three projects: "Higher Education Sprout ", "University Social Responsibility (USR) ", and "Improving the Publicity of Higher Education: Improving Educational Assistance Mechanisms". 
 2020  YZU team won the first prize of the first "TSMC IC Layout Contest"
 2020  The team " YZU Smart Hydrogen Energy ” participated in the Ministry of Science and Technology’s " 2020 The Grand Prix of Green Energy Drone Innovation "and won the first place in the "Other Green Energy Power Drone Group" with the second place in the Gueishan Island Challenge. YZU was one of two teams that successfully went back and forth to the Gueishan Island, winning the best among the 38 teams in the country. 
 2020  YZU Green Technology Research Center’s " Low-temperature magnesium hydrogen storage material and energy storage application Project" ranked as a spotlight team in “Green Energy Technology Joint Research and Development Program” of the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as received the  2020 FUTEX Award.
