YZU students’ school trip goes deep into the history of Zhongli

The College of General Studies of Yuan Ze University held school trip to introduce students about 14 historic sites and scenic spots in the downtown area of Zhongli. Taking the "Life Care and Environmental Education" route as an example, Prof. Chih-Ming Huang guided the students to visit the three cultural attractions -Zhongli Hospital, Jianziliee environmental Education center and Laojie River Education Center -to learn about the operation of the hospital in the early years and Wu's family life who is the hospital owner. Students aslo learn about the promotion of environmental education in elementary schools, the characteristics of green buildings, and witness how the Laojie River flowing through Zhongli City becomes a beautiful river and city garden from a "ditch".
