YZU teams win the first prize in TSMC IC Layout Contest

A team from Yuan Ze University won the first place in the first TSMC IC Layout Contest with a cash prize of NT$200,000. There are two YZU teams, led by Assistant Professor Pen-Jui Peng from Electrical Engineering, participating in the contest to receive the first and third awards. The champion winners are Wei-Hung Wang and Jiang-Wei Lin. And the other team, Yen-Ting Chen and Wen-Yu Hsiao, won the third place with cash prize of NT$80,000. TSMC will offer the first three teams opportunities to be summer interns in 2020 and priority for job interview in the future.
