YZU student team receives award in 2018 REAT

The four Yuan Ze University graduate students from Department of Mechanical Engineering
teamed up as name of G-tech for 2018 Global Student Innovation Challenge -Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology ( REAT ) and won the third prize of NTD 30,000 for the invention in Technology Category.

YZU team comes up with the invention of WhizMat which uses special foam for sport as walking on the beach in addition to IoT structure and leave-bed alert devices. When getting up or before bedtime, the user can do step exercise easily with mobile phone game and music in expectation of the elder’s regular physical activity.
