YZU students win prize in Fin Tech competition

YZU students stood out from 150 rivals and won the “Best Prediction Prize” with NTD 20,000. YZU was the only one of private universities running in finals of the Fin Tech competition hold by SAS and E.Sun bank. Instructing by Prof. Chia-Yu Hsu, the team is grouped by Cheng-Ze Hsu and Ting-An Lee from Dep. of Information Management, as well as, Guan-Wei Ho from Dep. of Social and Policy Sciences.

“Different from previous competitions” , said Cheng-Ze Hsu, “ we have to bring up marketing strategy after analysis.” Through integrating bank services and clients, we found many helpful bank products, such as FX Rate Alerts Services and Dual Currency Card, by which people can save more money in abroad.
