Associate Professor Huang receives Outstanding Research Award

Huang Chia-Wei (黃嘉威), an associate professor of Finance, is the only one nominee from the private institute to receive the award given by Ministry of Science and Technology. As an alumnus of Graduate School of Finance, Huang demonstrates excellent academic performance. In April 2015, Huang finished the research paper- CEO Overconfidence and Financial Crisis, with his colleague Lin Chih-Yung (林智勇), associate professor of Finance, and two researchers from other institutes. He published the paper on Journal of Financial Economics, an official journal of the Academy of Economics and Finance.

President Jyh-Yang Wu (吳志揚) met Huang and other faculty and staff on April 19. Wu said he was proud of Huang’s achievement, especially Huang graduated from YZU. He also expected YZU would have more academic performances shortly.
