YZU develops healthy monitor system for labor health

Prof. Chin-Mei Chou, with students from Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Yuan Ze University, built an evaluation model of body balance by measuring the correlation between center of pressure (COP) and physiological data. It can sensor human health through observing the present physical and mental condition and notifying abnormal state.

Chou said that they used the Wii Fit system and UI design for the monitor system of human balance, which collect small data to build the model for data matching and analysis. They will invite more participants from the age of 10 to 90 and measure COP sway velocity and area, combining with physiological indexes, to make model of monitor system.
