Prof. Shih-Ming Chang’s work wins international recognition

Winning the Best of Festival Awards in the 48th International Film & Video Festival, Shih-Ming Chang, Asst. Prof. from YZU Dep. Information Communication, received the prize of Corporate as the film “The Master “which is also nominated Best Festival Awards in US International Film & Video Festival.

The video “The Master” is a brand image film which is about ceramist Deng Feng Chiu and his artworks. It shows an artist who draws inspiration from pottery, calligraphy and tea ceremony rituals. Chang said that the film is made by deeply interviewing artist who shared his philosophy of creation. Through the video of making pottery, the viewers would know the inside story and the journey of an artist.
