台灣傳統社會中，最重要的節日莫過於春節，民間習俗上過農曆年有著團圓、祥和意涵。
過年時華人有吃「年夜飯」的傳統習俗，年夜飯俗稱「圍爐」，家裡所有老幼都會聚在一起吃飯，身處外地的家人也會趕回來，回到家中與親友一同團圓吃飯，迎接新年的到來。
學務處特別為著無法返鄉過節的境外生舉辦小年夜圍爐餐會，歡迎寒假留宿的遊子前來團聚，體驗台灣傳統過年文化。

There is no doubt that the Lunar New Year is the most important festival in traditional Taiwanese society, which symbolizes family reunions and harmony.
During the Lunar New Year, Chinese people follow the tradition of having a "Reunion Dinner", also known as "family reunion."
All family members, young and old, gather to enjoy a meal together. Many people that far away from home will rush home to welcome the new year with their loved ones.
This year, Office of Student Affairs is organizing a pre-Chinese New Year reunion dinner for international students who cannot return home.
We are open to 30 participants, welcoming those staying during the winter break to come together, experience traditional Taiwanese New Year culture, and enjoy a festive meal.
