主旨：謹再次宣導本公司大學生優惠專案適用對象及證件查驗方式，詳如說明，敬請查照。
說明：
一、本公司大學生優惠專案適用對象為「中華民國大專院校在學學生包含大專、專科、軍警學校及宗教院校，但不包含空中大學、空中學院及大專院校附設之進修補習班。學制
包含二專、五專、二技、四技、大學、碩士及博士。部別包含日間部、夜間部、進修部(需為上述學制)及在職專班(需為上述學制)。」，合先敘明。
二、持大學生優惠專案車票乘車者，應攜帶本人有效學生證正本(須蓋有當學期註冊章)以備查驗；若學生證無當學期註冊章、註冊章模糊無法辨識或免蓋註冊章之學生證，須合併出示當學期「在學證明」正本作為輔助證明，前述「在學證明」得為紙本或事先下載之電子版格式。於列車上查驗票當下恕不受理以網路連線登入學籍系統查詢在學資訊，請務必於乘車前先行下載以維護自身權益。如所出示的證件未能符合上述規定，應照章補票。

1. "Domestic university/college" refers to all universities, colleges, military/police schools, and religious schools in Taiwan. However, open universities, open continuing colleges, and continuing education programs/cram schools run by universities/colleges do not count.
2. When boarding, passengers shall present a valid student ID card for verification purposes(Electronic certification is not acceptable). THSR conducts random ID verification checks at the ticket gates and on the trains. If the student ID card does not have an enrollment stamp for the current semester or is exempted from such, the passenger will be required to present the original copy of a certificate of enrollment to be eligible for the relevant fare. Those who are caught failing to present a valid certificate shall pay up the full price, and will be charged an additional penalty fee of 50% of the fare difference in accordance with THSRC regulations.
